Lending a paw to the NSPCC

Posted on October 22nd, 2018

The NSPCC recently threw a spectacular fundraising project where local Colchester businesses took on a bear for two weeks of ‘work experience’. We were gladly joined by Cindy Bear and posted her journey on social media to help raise awareness and monies for the Colchester Projects of the NSPCC.

The NSPCC do amazing work for families and children and this is very close to our hearts at Freedom Funerals. We were glad to support this great cause and be involved in such a vital fundraising project.

Within the two weeks, we ensured Cindy Bears’ work experience was tailored to the Freedom team, helping with many projects such as preparing for Remembrance Sunday and delivering ashes to be placed in fireworks, showing our intern the unique ways that ashes can be used to remember a loved one.
